Why You Need To Remove Can’t From Your Vocabulary Right Now

Can’t is short word with a lot of power. Can’t is a word that limits you. It puts this false idea in your head that you are incapable of achieving your goals. The reality is: you have NO limits!

When I hear the words, “I can’t do it.” I immediately think “What do you mean you can’t do it?”

There is a huge difference between not being able to do something and not wanting to do something – can’t usually falls in the later category.

By saying you can’t do something, you begin filling your mind with doubts. You immediately put yourself at a huge disadvantage. I mean, you might as well admit defeat before you even start.

This is why you need to clear your mind of can’t and completely remove it from your vocabulary.

Why You Need To Remove Can't From Your Vocabulary Right Now

With the right mindset, a positive attitude, and a clear vision, the only thing holding you back from achieving your goal is YOU!

Sure it can be used in a positive way, such as “I can’t believe I just won!” But, in most cases can’t is used to destroy dreams.

See for yourself:

“I want to have my own company, but I can’t figure out where to start.”

“I want to lose weight, but I can’t give up chocolate.”

“I want to mend my relationship, but I just can’t talk to them right now.”

“I want to buy a house, but I can’t save that much money.”

Can’t crushes dreams before they even have a chance to begin.

To be honest, I used to use can’t to stop myself from taking risks. I was afraid of failure too.

But now, I would much rather fail at something than be paralyzed by the word can’t.

So what’s the alternative to using can’t?

Can

“I can’t” becomes “I can”.

Let’s see that in a real life example.

“I can’t achieve my dreams because [insert your best excuse here]” becomes “I can achieve my dreams because [insert your best excuse here]”

“I can’t lose weight because I can’t give up chocolate” becomes “I can lose weight because I can give up  chocolate.”

When you replace can’t with can, your mindset shifts – and you will notice a significant positive change in your life.

You start to realize that what you once feared can actually be used as motivation.

This simple shift in your mindset will allow you to achieve more. When you stop saying “I can’t” and replace it with “I can” or “I will”, you will start achieving more than ever before.

Before you know it, what you once thought was impossible becomes possible.

Make it your goal this week to eliminate the word “can’t” from your vocabulary. You don’t need it anymore!
